Teens and adults can take advantage of this opportunity to become a composer with a personal style! A member of our Dean's Office will advise on the selection of the appropriate instructor based on a student's interest in a particular musical style.

Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra Conducting Apprenticeship
Nancy Strelau, Instructor
age 15+

One student conductor apprenticeship position is available in the Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, and selected by an interview process. The student apprentice will conduct sectional rehearsals, play in the orchestra, and receive weekly private conducting lessons. Theory background is required.
