Join this unique Suzuki performance group in its second year! Work on advanced literature and hone your violin ensemble skills while preparing for special performance opportunities. Admission by audition (fall participants do not need to re-audition). Please call (585) 454-4596 to schedule an audition time with Katie Worley. Prospective members should prepare the Fiocco Allegro from memory and a 3-octave, G major scale.
FEE: $8 registration fee; $66* tuition. For students enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein, tuition is $54.

The Bright Lights of Broadway: A History of Musical Theatre

“What good is sitting alone in your room? Come, hear the music play!” (Cabaret, Kander & Ebb) Trace the development of Musical Theatre, beginning with its European origins through and including current American Broadway stage productions. This class emphasizes video as well as audio representation. Handout materials provided.
FEE: $8 registration fee: $112.50* tuition. For students enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein, $76.50 tuition.
