Rock Cello Group C4 ROC Accepted to ASTA Convention

C4 ROC accepted to Eclectic Strings Festival in Atlanta

March 22 – 24, 2011 • Atlanta, Georgia

C4 ROC is an honors cello ensemble coached by Ivan Trevino and Kathy Kemp. The ensemble made a CD and applied to the American String Teachers Association to attend the annual convention with the chance to have hands on adjudication and competition. As an added bonus, competitive groups and individuals will compete for the Grand Prize- a chance to serve as the opening act for the internationally renowned Barrage during the Saturday evening concert on March 24th.

C4 ROC will have these opportunities:

- PARTICIPATE competitive or comment track with informative feedback
- EXCLUSIVE clinics with Adjudicators and members of Barrage
- EXPLORE other exciting sessions as part of the National Conference
- VISIT the ASTA strings-only exhibit hall and experience instruments and products in a hands-on environment
- JOIN on stage the hip young cast of Barrage for one of their songs during the Saturday evening concert
