Hochstein School of Music & Dance is pleased to announce our new Board officers for 2011-2012:
Ann Thomas, Chair, founder of ATmosphere, a company directed at solving complex business problems for clients across a diverse group of industries.
C. Allan Reeve, Vice-Chair, heads Reeve Law Firm, which specializes in construction law and surety law in the Rochester and Upstate NY regions.
Jacqueline A. Zuber, Treasurer, Certified Public Accountant with Richard Gray & Co.
Susan J. Scanlon, Esq., Secretary, Principal of Corporate Legal Management, a firm providing support services to in-house corporate counsel.
We also are pleased to announce the addition of three new Board members:
Marc Baglin, is a Sr. Business Systems Analyst at Bausch + Lomb, where he is also chairperson of the Green
Sleeves environmental group and participates in the Young Leaders Network. As a musician, accomplishments include winning a national band competition, sharing the same stage with platinum selling acts, and selling songs to independent artists. As a business owner, he operates Sour Note Productions, which provides such services as song licensing, artist production, and song parodies. Marc lives in Rochester.
Teri Clement, is a Community Arts Volunteer and has returned to Rochester after a 20-year absence. She is a student of Purna Yoga, and is working toward becoming a certified instructor. Teri resides in Rochester with her husband, Chris.
Peter Giopulos, Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus of Rochester Institute of Technology where he was a Professor of
Art, Director of the School of Art and Design, and Associate Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts. He was Dean of Graduate Studies of RIT and held other administrative positions. Peter lives in Rochester.
We welcome back long-time Hochstein supporter Robert D. Hursh as Honorary Director.
Joining Hochstein’s Advisory Directors are Spencer Cook, Judith Ricker, Christopher Sardone, Lawrence Schenck, and Dr. Sidney Sobel.
