Ivan Trevino, Director of Music Lab
Our new technology hub, the Music Lab, located in our former library space, is now equipped with one teacher and eight student workstations, each with a full-size digital keyboard. This paves the way for interactive ear-training, keyboard skill-building, and composition classes. Each computer will soon be loaded with software including Sibelius, Finale, and Auralia/Musition and the Center will also feature a large flatbed scanner for music editing.
Ivan Trevino, recently hired as the lab's Director, is currently designing a curriculum for the Music Lab that will support the work of our talented faculty. A list of computer-based offerings will be available under separate cover in August.
