Live from Hochstein Broadcast and Concert Series 

All concerts are free and will take place on Wednesdays, from 12:10-12:50 pm in the Hochstein Performance Hall.
The events are broadcast live over WXXI
Classical 91.5/90.3 FM radio and HD 91.5-1. Rebroadcast at 10:00pm.

Finger Lakes Concert Band

March 17: Finger Lakes Concert Band Wearing of the Green: A celebration for St. Patrick's Day

The Finger Lakes Concert Band, in their 25th Anniversary season, is directed by Brian Story. Irish and Celtic Music by Clare Grundman, Leroy Anderson, Philip Sparke, Haydn Wood, and Melanie Donahue.
Broadcast on WXXI Classical 91.5/90.3/FM-HD 91.5-1. WXXI will present a special segment on the featured performers that airs Wednesday mornings between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m of the concert date.

Selected works performed by outstanding Hochstein students

Live from Hochstein, the longest running live broadcast concert series in Western New York, broadcasts performances by the finest artists from the Rochester area’s musical community from the Hochstein Performance Hall (50 North Plymouth Ave. in Rochester). The programs range from soloists and chamber ensembles to large orchestras and choirs. The broadcasts are presented as free "brown bag" concerts, where business people, teachers, families, musicians, and students can spend their lunch hour enjoying classical music performed by local artists. This series is made possible in part with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency and the New York State Music Fund, established by the New York State Attorney General at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
