Hochstein in the Community. Hochstein School serves as a community center for Greater Rochester. Located in the heart of the city, Hochstein offers a place to work and collaborate with colleagues, students and audiences. Each member of the Hochstein population has access to our 100-seat Hilda D. Taylor Recital Hall and our 857-seat elegantly renovated Performance Hall, in which recitals and performances are regular occurrences. Hochstein faculty and students can also take advantage of both our Music Library and Alling Listening Library.
