Dedicated to providing music and dance opportunities for our entire community, Hochstein annually presents the "Live from Hochstein" concert series. This series is offered on most school-year Wednesdays at 12:10 pm and offers a variety of chamber music, ensembles and solo performances which frequently feature Hochstein faculty and students. "Live from Hochstein" is broadcast live on WXXI-FM Classical 91.5 and, as with most of our musical performances, is free and open to the public. The "Live from Hochstein" series receives generous support from Batavia Radiation Oncology Center of Batavia, New York.

Initiated in 1992, our popular concert series "Hochstein in Concert: Spotlight on Faculty" features members of the talented Hochstein faculty in one-hour long concerts which take place Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons throughouth the school year.

Hochstein students regularly perform throughout the Greater Rochester area in senior centers, nursing homes, and at annual city events including the Lilac Festival. Performances also take place at public venues such as the Strong Museum, Memorial Art Gallery, George Eastman House, Eastview Mall, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, and Seabreeze Amusement Park among others.

Hochstein School is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). Based on the excellence and scope of programming, NASM accreditation assures that each student is provided an opportunity to pursue a quality music or dance education based on individual needs and abilities.
