Fall Walk–In Registration Times:
Tuesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 14 from 3:00–8:00 pm
Tuesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 28 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm
September 2–4 from 3:00–8:00 pm.
Register early to ensure greater options of available lesson times and classes. Mailed registrations for classes & Ensembles must be postmarked no later than September 1. After Sept. 1, please refer to "Walk-in Registration" times. Hochstein at Canandaigua fall office hours are Monday–Thursday 2:00 pm–9:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am–3:00 pm.

For Individual Instruction: Students must register by appointment only. For best selection of lesson times, make your appointment early by calling (585) 396–3778.
Additional information about registration:
A minimum enrollment is required for all classes. If Hochstein cancels an offering, a full refund including all registration fees will be made to those already enrolled. Students will be charged for classes that occur prior to cancellation.

TUITION ASSISTANCE
Students requiring tuition assistance in order to enroll in any program at Hochstein may do so through the Program Coordinator. Tuition assistance guidelines are as follows:
· For children enrolling in individual lessons, reduced fees-on a sliding scale-may apply if household income is less than $40,000.
· For children enrolling in classes, reduced fees-on a sliding scale-may apply if household income is less than $25,000.
· For adults enrolling in private lessons, reduced fees-on a sliding scale–may apply if household income is less than $25,000.
Verification of household income and completion of a tuition assistance application is due prior to registration. For more information and to obtain an application, call Hochstein at (585) 396-3778.
Support for Hochstein's tuition assistance program is provided by the United Way of Greater Rochester, the Lila Wallace–Reader's Digest Fund, and the many friends of Hochstein School. Additional assistance designated for minority youth is provided by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).
Refunds
Hochstein School reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient
enrollment. A full refund, including registration fees, will be made to
those enrolled in a class canceled by the School. Students will be charged
for classes that occur prior to cancellation.
Withdrawals
The Hochstein at Canandaigua Office must be notified if a student wishes to discontinue lessons
or classes at Hochstein. In all cases of student withdrawal, registration
fees are non-refundable. Students who must withdraw for verified medical
reasons will be charged only for classes through the point of withdrawal.
For Individual Instruction:
Refunds are based on the proximity of withdrawal to the first lesson. Please
call the Office at 585-396-3778 for specific information.
