Finger Lakes Concert Band

Thursdays, 7:30–9:30 pm at Canandaigua Middle School
Comprised of adult instrumentalists from the Greater Finger Lakes community, the Finger Lakes Concert Band rehearses weekly and gives several concerts per year featuring a wide variety of music ranging from standard wind band literature and orchestral transcriptions to music of the jazz and pop idioms. Auditions are not required. Musical competence will be determined by the Music Director during a trial period of at least two weeks, but not to exceed more than one series of rehearsals culminating with a concert. Electric Guitar and Bass Ensemble

Mondays, 7:30-8:30 pm
Designed to develop reading skills, as well as improvisation in the jazz, rock, and blues styles for students seeking performance experience in a mixed group. Students should have three years experience on their instrument and good reading ability.
FEE: $8 registration fee; $396* yearly tuition payable in quarterly installments of $99 each. For students enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein, yearly tuition is $324 payable in quarterly installments of $81.
